An Ode to Womanhood
Inner Landscapes
The body is a landscape of its own, shaped by the same forces that shape the Earth: pressure, movement, expansion, erosion, growth and renewal.
In the folds of skin, the traces of time and the elasticity of living tissue, I find echoes of the natural world. The feminine body becomes both landscape and home — something we inhabit, something that changes, something that holds a life of its own.
Yet womanhood extends far beyond the physical body. It is also an experience of moving through the world in a female body: of flowing with the rhythms of nature, of becoming, of carrying life, of letting go, and of finding our way through the seasons of change. Like rivers that carve their paths through the Earth, we are shaped by what flows through us, what nourishes us, and what leaves its mark.
Through these works, I explore the intimate connections between the feminine experience and the natural world. The fluidity of water, the resilience of roots, the cracks in the Earth and the quiet cycles of growth and decay become reflections of our own landscapes — of desire, creation, motherhood, longing, loss and transformation.
Some landscapes hold the promise of life; others bear the traces of what might have been. Both belong to the story of being a woman. In nature, I find a language for experiences that are often difficult to express in words: the tenderness of becoming, the depth of loss, the persistence of life and the beauty of continuing to flow.
This is an ode to womanhood. The emotional, sensual and archetypal feminine expressed through body, texture, nature and soulscape.
May you find magic along the way.
