I’m Lize. Sexologist, teacher, photographer, space holder, woman, mother, world traveler, lover of life, artist in love… and so much more.
At the same time, I’m so much less than all those words.
Above all, I am simply myself.
Real. Authentic. Pure.
Just like you.
My life has moved through many countries and cultures; studying, working, researching, sometimes alone, sometimes with my partner, and now also with our children. In each place, I was invited to integrate again and again, to learn how to look, to feel who I was in relation to a world larger than myself. These journeys shaped a multicultural perspective on relationships, sexuality, intimacy and love. They taught me that my truth is never the truth, and that love unfolds differently in every body, every culture, every life.
In 2012, I graduated as a sexologist from KU Leuven, Belgium. Shortly after, my heart began to speak through art as well; through skin, light, nature and femininity. I conducted research in Saudi Arabia on how young women experience love, intimacy and self-love, and facilitated sessions around The Feminine. There, it became even clearer: how we inhabit our bodies, touch, connect, communicate and love is not a fixed formula. It is an ongoing, cultural and deeply personal process.
From the merging of scientific knowledge and inner knowing, Heartcore was born; the name of my practice and my way of working.
As a professional member of the Flemish Association of Sexologists (VVS), I guide individuals, professionals and creatives within the landscape of Erotic Intelligence: a space where authenticity can rise to the surface. Where you are invited to meet yourself and one another. Where nothing has to be, and much is allowed to simply be.
Alongside words, my work also speaks through images. In the All Things Wild PhotoTherapy series, as well as in my curated Art collections and exhibitions, I use photography to reveal deeper layers of femininity, the body, nature, human emotion, growth and connection.

My life unfolds as a journey; ever evolving. What I live, I bring into my work and what I offer in my work, I practice in my life. Both are rooted in a deep devotion to feminine wholeness.
