WOMAN OF ALL THINGS WILD

It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.
Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean.

Because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know.

It’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.

– Khalil Gibran

Imagine a woman in her full power, flowing effortlessly with and within all elements.

She is not merely surrendering to the storm — she is the storm and the rainbow that follows. She is the whirlwind that sets everything in motion. She is the calm at the eye of the storm.

Her open heart doesn’t just accept the chaos around her, it transforms it, creating a path of pink skies and pure magic.

With grace and strength, she embodies the full spectrum of life’s forces — the wind, rain, thunder, sunset, … and everything in between — while maintaining a deep connection to her own inner peace.

Her freedom lies in her ability to embrace the natural flow of life and the changes that come with it, and, more importantly, to align herself with them. She teaches us that real freedom comes from letting go of control and becoming one with All Things Wild.

How can you embrace both the storm and the peace within you? What might change if you flowed with life’s unpredictable elements instead of resisting them?

Woman of All Things Wild was first showcased at the UNNATI exhibition, held at Huis Dessert in September 2024. The exhibition explored evolution of the Soul through Art, inviting viewers on a transformative journey of self-discovery and inner growth.
