She Pours

In the hush between moon phases,
She opens
Fully.

She pours,
Like the first wine of prophecy,
Fermented in the cave of the ancients.

This is no curse,
No shame,
No impurity.

This is initiation
In her purest form:
A red thread pulled from the hem of the cosmos,
Spiraling through centuries of silence.

Wild intelligence
Flares through the root,
Knowing the temple of her skin
Holds a secret
Older than language:

To bleed
Is to bloom
Inward.

You are becoming.
Again.
And again. And again.

She Pours is an ode to menstrual wisdom: a form of intelligence that has long been dismissed, hidden, or shamed in our culture. With this work, I aim to reclaim menstruation as something sacred: not as a monthly inconvenience or impurity, but as a profound initiatory experience that connects us to something much older and deeper than linear time.

The image evokes a liminal space: the threshold between shadow and light, where the unseen becomes felt. The soft iridescence emerging through the darkness mirrors how intuitive knowing often reveals itself: subtly, cyclically, and through the body.

A message carried in blood, in rhythm, in silence.

This piece speaks to the idea that to bleed is not to be broken. On the contrary, it is to be opened — fully, wildly, and wisely. Every cycle is an invitation to return to the body as temple, to listen to what lies beneath the surface, and to remember the ancestral knowledge we carry in our wombs.

In this way, menstruation is not a problem to be solved, but a prophecy to live by.

What wisdom lives in your blood, your rhythm, your silence… and longs to be heard?
