“What’s wild in you is not loud. It’s luminous.”
Parhelion is a natural optical phenomenon: a reflection of sunlight caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere. It often appears alongside thin clouds, creating the illusion of a second sun, or a hint of rainbow light.
Like the moon, the parhelion doesn’t generate its own light. It reflects. Yet in that reflection, something new is born; a quiet force, a doubling of presence.
Parhelion invites us to reconnect with our own sources of light. It reflects the duality many of us hold: the tension between inner strength and outer expression, between what is visible and what is deeply felt. It’s a visual reminder that our wildness doesn’t have to shout to be present… it only needs space to be seen.
What part of you shines more clearly when you allow reflection — not action — to lead?
